A few weeks after mailing the "save-the-date" invitation, the actual invitation with specifics was sent.
The front was a moody portrait of Edgar Allan
Poe and I hand-painted the envelope with grey brush strokes. Creating invitations is such fun and there have been times that I have used a personal photograph.
The middle section featured a photograph of two Victorian ladies and the party details.
Black feathers and ravens/black birds would play a large part in the party.
The back encouraged guests to respond sooner rather than later.
More to come...
xo sequestered and serene
